TREND SUMMARY

LEE, OCTOBER 2005 ... LEE moves into their new spacious, three-story showroom,
introduces an extensive array of new fabrics, and showcases a depth of new product.

Bigger and Better – After several years in its Lindsay Street showroom, LEE Industries
takes a step up, literally, into its new 32,000 square foot, three-story showroom on the
corner of Lindsay Street and High Avenue. The larger space will allow LEE more flexibility
in the product shown, as well as create opportunities to partner with complementary
suppliers. Designed by Greg Mercer of Mercer Architecture in High Point, the new LEE
showroom is a reflection of the LEE persona – classic elements with contemporary styling
designed to stand the test of time.

Awash in Color and Texture - Bigger and better is not restricted to the showroom facility.
LEE is making one of the largest fabric introductions in its history, with nearly 200 SKU’s
being added to the line. The trend of spicy earth tones continues with shades of citrus, cinnamon, chocolate, and green dominating the color offering. Royalty, Moss, a chenille
damask in an earthy green, is showcased on LEE’s new #1802-03 Sofa. A different look in
damask is Nora, Spice, a washed cotton weave in a deep nutmeg orange, shown on LEE’s
new #2352-03 Sofa. Of particular interest is Carson, a 100% sanded washed cotton with an
incredibly smooth hand. Available in 12 shades, Carson will be suitable for the the LEE
and Coveralls product lines. LEE is also responding to requests for unique shades in
leather with Canoe, available in the pastel shades of Apricot, Lavender, Mint and Rose, as
well as the traditional Brass.

Depth in Design - With more space to show product, there is more opportunity to delve
into creative designs. Showcased in Davis, White with throw pillows in Sable, Cocoa, the
new #5999 Series Sectional in LEE boasts contemporary lines with a unique angled corner
chaise. In sharp contrast are the soft curves of the overscaled #103 Slipcovered Sofa
in Coveralls. Upholstered in Carson, White, the gentle lines and plush back pillows suggests
whiling away the afternoon with a good book. Of course, there is plenty of room to
introduce more traditional frames such as the #L-3100-01 Chair in Leather showcased in
Canoe, Brass. The gently curved tapered arms, tight back and base are accented in small
brass nailhead trim so that the lines of the design can be fully appreciated.

That's the dream I dream … that's the LEE for me.
